What is ABA Therapy?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based treatment backed by scientific research. While the concepts involved in ABA therapy are used in many different fields, ABA has been shown to be particularly effective for helping children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). ABA is endorsed by the US Surgeon General and the American Psychological Association as an effective therapy for individuals with Autism. Only a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) can design, implement, and oversee ABA treatment.
